| May 1993 |
Completely removed trichlene (trichloroethylene) , which is a hazardous substance contributing to water pollution and air pollution.
| June 1996 |
Near completion of the removal of fluorocarbon liquids , which is an ozone depleting substance.
| January 1998 |
Started Environmental Impact Testing by establishing unique standards on NSK Nakanishi's environmental impact substances. In addition , started company wide action aimed at combating against losses of resources , energy , etc. (Separated collection , lights off during inactivity , paper recycling , etc.)
| September 1998 |
Maintained numerical values that are far below smoke emission standard values by setting up a new high-combustion "Ace Plaza II Incinerator."
| November 1998 |
Maintained numerical value that is far below standard values of industrial effluents such as polishing treatment liquids by setting up Coagulation Sedimentation type biological waste water treatment equipment.
| January 1999 |
Obtained compliance with the requirements of International Environmental Standard. ISO 14001
| August 1999 |
Set up an Environmental Recycling Center and introduced various recycling equipment. As a result , the recycling rate of factory supplies increased while new purchase quantities and industrial waste disposal volume drastically decreased. Specifically , the recycling rate of cutting oil became 97% , a major contribution to the conservation of resources.
| April 2000 |
Completed the abolition of organic solvents of water-polluting hazardous materials (methylene chloride).
| February 2002 |
Completed abolition of Super millstream, which is subject to PRTR.
| October 2002 |
Established a compact incinerator required by law to deal with dioxin contamination.
| July 2005 |
Completed compliance with the "Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)Directive"
| July 2006 |
Completed compliance with the "Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) Directive".
| May 2008 |
All air conditioning systems for manufacturing buildings were replaced with new ones with 45% higher energy efficiency.
| October 2010 |
Automatic control panel systems were installed for operating compressors so that they could work more efficiently, which resulted in 3% reduction of electricity consumption (96,600KWH less per year) in all manufacturing buildings.
| December 2010 |
256 solar panels were installed on the wall of HQ building. They generate 31,000KWH electricity and reduce12 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year, which would be absorbed by 3.3 ha of forests. The system to visualize electric power called “Eco Wise” was introduced for leveling and saving power. |
