Optimal Control by Microcomputer NSK's long experience and accumulated know-how in laboratory engines were put into this sophisticated microcomputer that enables superior operability. The microcomputer always monitors motor's function, allowing smooth starting and stopping. Even while motor is rotating, reverse switching is possible without unpleasant shocks to hands.

Eco-friendly Design Reduces Power Consumption Z 500K's electronic circuit is designed to minimise power consumption. Also heat loss that causes heat generation in the unit is minimal, eliminating the need for a heat release fan thus allowing more quiet operation.

Maintenance Mode Maintenance Mode is provided to check basic function of switches, digital displays, pedals, motors, etc. To activate Maintenance Mode, press Turbine switch A and Auto Cruise switch B simultaneously and turn the power on and keep pressing the switches until you hear a beep sound. (approx. 2 seconds) Maintenance Mode is cancelled by turning the power on again.

Easy to read speed Indicator Double-digit display clearly indicates accurate rotation speed during operation.

Auto Cruise Function Auto Cruise function enables you to automatically maintain a desired speed level without using knee-control unit. Before starting the motor, press the Auto Cruise button and confirm the indicator light is on. Then start the motor. When it is reached to desired speed, hold the speed for over 1 second to activate Auto Cruise. Very convenient when you continue the same work for certain period of time.

Error Code Display Function The error code display helps you to make trouble-shooting faster and easier.

Optional Wall Bracket By using the optional wall bracket, the control unit can be mounted on a wall, giving more work space. Optional handpiece cradle is also available.

TA adaptor Z 500K can also operate air turbine handpieces by simply attaching the otional air turbine adaptor.
